At Curve-U, our fat-freezing treatment is more than simply applying the fat-freezing applicator to the treatment area.
Our new-generation fat-freezing machine requires a specific post-treatment protocol within the same appointment. Instead of finishing the treatment with a traditional manual massage of the area, we use Cavitation & RF together with Laser Lipolysis as part of the same treatment session.
But why?
What happens after fat freezing?
Fat freezing, also known as cryolipolysis, uses controlled cooling to target fat cells in a specific area.
Once the fat-freezing portion of your treatment is complete, the treated area needs attention to encourage lymphatic drainage and movement within the area.
This is where our additional technologies come in.
Why do we use Cavitation & RF?
Cavitation and RF are performed on the treatment area as part of our protocol.
Radio Frequency (RF) uses controlled energy to warm the area and promote circulation.
Cavitation uses ultrasound technology and is incorporated into the treatment to work on the treated area.
Together, they provide a technology-based approach to treating the area immediately after the fat-freezing portion of your appointment.
Why do we use Laser Lipolysis?
Laser Lipolysis is also included during the same appointment.
The low-level laser technology is used as part of our body-contouring protocol and works alongside the other technologies being used on the treated area.
The combination allows us to provide a complete treatment protocol in one appointment, rather than simply performing a manual massage afterwards.
Why don’t we just massage the area?
Traditional fat-freezing treatments may involve manually massaging the treated area afterwards.
Our machine is a new-generation system with a different treatment protocol.
For this reason, our protocol incorporates Cavitation & RF and Laser Lipolysis instead of relying on manual massage alone.
This means you don’t need to book another appointment to receive this part of your treatment. It is all done during your fat-freezing appointment.
